BAYTOWN DOLLAR
KRONA
Baytown Dollar is a bay mare born in 2014. She spent most of her days as a two-year-old training at Kentucky’s Thoroughbred Center in Lexington. She had her last training session on December 13, 2016 when she sustained an injury to her right knee. Afterwards she was examined by a vet and it was determined that she was a candidate for surgery. She remained on stall rest through the month of December and then made the journey to Indiana on December 31, 2016. When she arrived she was given the barn name ‘Krona’ (the Russian word for dollar). During the month of January Krona was hand walked daily and had limited turnout to gradually introduce her to the herd atmosphere at the barn. Krona is now on full turnout and is enjoying life as a horse.
